The Dark One is the most feared being in all The Enchanted Forest. Everyone knows whoever has the dagger controls The Dark One along with the fate of everyone in the land. 
Somehow Cora Mills gets her hands on it, surprisingly enough. She has no plans on how to use The Dark One....yet, so she entrusts her naive young daughter Regina with the dagger.
 She thinks she is attempting to show Regina how to be responsible, but really she I'd just giving The Dark One a chance to get back at Cora. The woman may have locked The Dark One up, but she isn't the one calling the shots.
Regina finds herself in front of the cell of The Dark One to find a beautiful girl and not the beast she imagined, and becomes attracted to the girl not knowing that that was The Dark One's plan all along.
Will The Dark One continue the charade to get back at Cora, or will she fall for Regina and expel the darkness within her?
