At the king's palace a baby girl is born with incredible powers. Chips are placed in the mutants to control them. From birth her abilities are obvious. She can move things with her mind and summon fire. As she grows she is punished for the use of her powers, her beauty is also obvious from the start. At the age of 5 she is gifted to the the prince Dival on his 16th birthday. Over the years with her on a leash beside him he grows to love the young girl but his father a cruel king punishes her whenever the prince is out of sight. On one such day the king sends her to be adjusted, a cruel way in which emotion is stripped to improve behaviour except Ari has never had bad behaviour.
