A young girl is kidnapped at an early age and is locked away in a big fancy house, little does she know she is the subject of a chemical and psychological experiment. Luckily the room has books. So as she grows she becomes more and more intelligent. As well as being intelligent, the effects of the chemical experimentation begins to show and she is able to escape. When she escapes she is determined to figure out why she was locked away and who killed her parents and why. And so begins a story of mystery, forgiveness, and some comedy(and a LOT of references).
P.S: My friend is writing a story called "The Ringmaster", so if you like my writing the you'll probably like his story.(Pssst, my story is a prequel to the Ringmaster and the rest of the books in the series).

I see the world through different eyes--literally. Some people would say I have it all. I'm smart, have popular friends and my parents are loaded. One deadly weekend at the family lake house changes all that. When I wake up in a strange facility in the middle of nowhere, I'm told that I'm being held for the public's safety and that I've been given a gift. Stronger than 1 but she doesn't turn into a giant monkey. She has better accuracy than 2.... Somehow.... But her weapon of choice would've bee a bow and arrow. She has 3's same power but she doesn't like to use it except to get what she wants and her sister's doesn't work on her. She can transform like 6 could. She can see him like 4. The only other one that can. He was always afraid of his power drowns it out by getting high. But they were kind of her only friends minus her brother and their more dangerous sister. 5 and her liked to race each other the only difference is, is that as smart as he is she's a better jumper. But she has the most in common with 7. They're both seen as too dangerous and her powers like her sister's are awaken and work because of their emotions. She's more dangerous though because she can mirror her siblings powers. She trained herself her dad never cared about her. He always cared about his non biological children more. And he only cared enough about them to train them but he didn't care about any of them. She was born the same day they were and the same age. She wasn't born the same way though. It was more like a science experiment. He gave a serum to get the one person he trusted to have her and made it timed to the day. Maybe that's why she has their same powers or why she's more dangerous. The only thing that ever worked on her was.... I'll tell you later. But none of them remember she has powers.Complete

Of course, that's not what young Desmond Reid thought when his mother sent him on an errand one afternoon to receive some milk from a local grocery store. When he wakes up, he discovers he's been transmitted to a hospital and it's been two weeks since his little episode. Upon his return to reality, however, things change. Her scientific 'parents' want to do a routine test but Shane injects herself accidentally with adrenaline. stupid of her really but her parents inject her with something. this was the last straw for her as the pai became too much for her. when she goes to school the next day she is different. it's noticeable to anyone and especially to the guy that bullies her everyday. what does she do when she see's her bullies girlfriend cheating on him? what will she do when she sees bruises on him? what does she do when she starts to change into a horrible being that only wants one thing?Complete

Y/n Powers. (Yes powers is her last name, it's kinda funny) She looks like your average girl but she's not. We'll get into that later. She's friends with a group boys that one day find a girl with super powers. They were looking for there from, Will. A part of the group. Turns out he was in another dimension. Fast forward a year and we defeat if again. The mind flay, to be exact. I have powers that no one knows about, well someone does. The person I trust most. Will. The only reason I didn't help defeat it was cause my powers would have killed someone. So I didn't use them. Plus chose to do it herself. We got a new member of the group. Max. She's from California. She use to hate us- now we couldn't be closer. Fast forward five months, and me and Will confessed our feelings for each other. Mike and El did, too. But it was kinda obvious that they liked each other. El told me about a girl that is strong but I don't know if she's talking about me. Now we are all just happy and all together. Like a family. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. It didn't matter if the child was five or eighteen; they'd take them and give them the same horrible treatment. Morgan was hunted and taken. Rylie was not. Morgan Carter was put in the camps and wasn't able to come out the same way she came in. She became their pet telekinetic/assassin, ready to kill and torture without hesitation and knew how to. She forgot her old life, including her name. Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken.
