Fire, destruction, death.
  Anger, fear, sorrow.
  Dragons.

It has been fifteen years since the government, bent on constructing weapons of war, created mutant beasts known as dragons; fifteen years since the dragons escaped the laboratory and turned the world as we know it into an apocalyptic wasteland where each day is a struggle for survival.
For Eliza and Ember Roan, this is no exception. Living in a scorched world filled with violent gangs, fight rings, murderers and the fear that they could die at any moment, the girls survive in any way they can, but when their dad goes missing, their already crumbling world starts to fall apart. At what lengths will they go to to survive? How can you survive when you're two vulnerable teenagers who have been captured by one of the most powerful gangs out there? What can you do when you're thrown into the most forbidden partnership in post-apocalyptic America? How do you come to love the things you're meant to hate?

As Eleanor's pocket full of bullets decreases, she gets closer and closer to becoming the werewolf queen. Complete. Word Count: 105,000 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He turned slowly back, dreary eyes meeting mine. The towering man was nearly seven feet tall and all bulging muscles. His hair was dark and cut long skimming his smooth angled jaw. Brows watching me with the same intensity as I was watching him. Very lovely rich tan color. Shirtless and barefoot, but wearing simple leather pants, with some kind of pack hanging to his hip. Stomach raw with some deep gash and body littered with cuts. The entire picture of him was genuinely mouthwateringly handsome, but with the dagger still held in one hand entirely too deadly. "Stay right there Dothraki!" I called, my rifle finally having something in the crosshairs again. I'd never watched the popular show, but the videos I saw sure had him looking like he could play one of the built characters. The dagger dropped to the ground and he fell to a single knee after it, though he didn't bend to pick it up. He bent to ...bow? His head stayed inclined as he bent and spoke. His voice was smooth and husky, deep and baritone. Exceptionally beautiful. "Earth female safe." 1st in Aliens: 09/21

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Snow

98 parts Complete

After an apocalyptic event that thrusts the world into a new ice age, Calestia - a 17-year-old girl with a strong will - must learn to survive on a land infested with gangs, guns, and distrust. ***** Nobody knows what day it is anymore. Nobody knows the month, the day of the week...and the only way to tell time is by the slight change in the color of the sky from grey to black every twenty-four hours. If a day even is twenty-four hours anymore. The planet is dead. The people are dead. Snow falls down upon piles of bodies like the ash of a volcanic eruption. Except, the snow doesn't stop. It never does. It continues to fall and fall until you wonder if it is even possible for another flake to come down and land silently in your hair. But it does. They do. There are few survivors of what the remaining have started to call the end of the world. The Apocalypse. Few who are still brave or scared of death enough to face the torture that is living. I am one of those survivors. Book One of the Snow Series Highest ranking: #3 in Sci-Fi Watty's Shortlisted
