Mature
Alena Gordon woke up thinking it was any other normal day. She'd get dressed and go to work at the hospital, come home and binge watch some TV before passing out for the night and starting all over the next day, but things were not normal when she woke up. First her best friend, and roommate tried to kill her and then she escapes and crashes her car, then finds out it's the start of a zombie apocalypse and she somehow missed the first month of it. She ends up joining a small group and a certain redneck asshole immediately catches her off guard and makes her question everything she ever believed in. All odds are against them, but they have to figure out how to love and trust in this new world, and most importantly how to survive.

39 parts Complete Mature

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.
