Safire ran away from home one night due to the voice telling her and because of that it saved her life from her abusive family. But now because she's listened to her to the voice she's somehow ended up in a magical world that she had no idea about. Maybe the voice has finally gotten her into deep trouble especially when it concerns the elf called Vlyn who she feels connected to more than anything.
Vlyn is the last elf and ruler of the realm, hidden in a forest that is almost impossible to get into especially for humans. But Vlyn never expected his mate to come to him or to be human and he never expected Safire to be the spit fire that she is.

Elves are immortal, except death by battle or poison. Yet, despite that fact, Starlyn’s mother is dying, and nobody knows why. Starlyn loves her mother and desperately searches for any way to help her, yet it seems there is little she can do but sit and watch.
