I wrote this poem for our school newspaper right after I encountered the Semicolon Project online. The expressions in the poem exemplify the situation of those going through depression, anxiety, and those who want to take away their lives. Project Semicolon chose to help those people. The symbol was chosen to represent the situation when a writer thinks an idea is supposed to end, yet doesn't want it to. This is the whole purpose of this project, and I am one of those who chose to express as well.

Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. All The Things I Could Have Told Her
This is a sad romance book, and my first book. leave honest reviews thanks trigger warnings: schizophrenia, (things that aren't there and etc) suicidal thoughts, depression, death, grieving, and neglect.
Save Me
I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.Concluída

The Forbidden Romance
So this is my first time writing an actual story ok so give me some credit, also it's based off a person's real life experience they have me permission to write about it, and it's a story about a male nurse at a mental hospital who falls in love with a patient of theirs who isn't mental but was sent their because she tried to end her life cuz she was depressed and had old trauma.
