The tribes have united under the prophesied One King. But has the prophesy been fulfilled? Dark powers of forgotten times are rising with their own agenda.

They are a race beyond the confines of time yet forgotten by the world of man except in in myths and legends. Legends that make them feared the stories told to small children to keep them scared. She is one of them but in exile the world of Man now her home. Angry at her punishment she becomes the assassin, a shadow in the night alone, proud and strong, until she meets the most unlikely of men, who by the end she will owe more than just her life.

He is the lord of the slums, respected and feared. Wealth, power all these he has but he too is alone and bored of this life. But saving one woman life will change his forever.

The woods are his home. He chooses this life of self-imposed solitude. The greatest of hunters the most skilled tracker he has no desire for wealth just himself. Since his father passed leaving him an orphan he has not wanted to seek the company of others. But what’s the worst that could happen if he takes one last tracking job before winter hits?

The king of Elrenai should be strong feared and yet beloved by his people. This king is weaker than his ancestors, he has chosen to flee and hide rather than face his enemies. He has only one true friend a man he calls brother who gives him the strength to lead and to fight. So what will happen when he must stand alone to protect his people.

He is an outcast, alone, hated and hunted for doing what was right. A legend in his own right, a man whose name is whispered in fear around camp fires. Begged for help then shunned for it. Always moving always alone.

A united nation controlled by a twisted puppet who serves a greater master is coming and only these unlikely companions can stand against it.
