That's About Africa is a project that sprouts from a very little discussion survey held here on wattpad at the cafe, with wattpad users @regnbage , @FadEd_DarknEss , @IDEASmi and @sad-shadow . Questions were asked about what exactly an African story is. Suggestions were made, and the agreement was that an African story is "A story where the main character is of African decent, or a story that has a location of Africa as its setting."
But we, in extention to that answer, want to give you a taste of what stories of and from Africa is really about- at least, less popular stories.
So, we birth project #ThatsAboutAfrica .
Here, we will regularly upload summaries of less-than-popular stories of and from Africa by published authors. We will leave you to say what you can about these stories and how they inspire you.
The aim is to get you out there - African or not - to know about Africa and its literary richness, and then go ahead and write about the continent on your own.
We trust it will be an exciting ride, so, hop on.

He tightly grabs me by my waist and he holds me in place while I still continue to get captivated by whatever it is that is happening here. "Tell me what you see."
