  In a bleak future world, a timid boy named Samuel Lawrence is sent to yet another boarding school, where a strange secret awaits him. When a corporation known as Lint Corp. delivers him a seemingly unimportant cartoon sketch, Sam is pulled into a fantastical war involving sentient hands, ruling kiwi birds, and the god of death and destruction, Articulus. And Sam, or Soal as his fellow warriors name him, clearly thinks he is incapable of the impossible battles and painstaking destruction he must lead. But there are more dangers to this new world than even Soal expects...

The first half, led by the Dark Lord himself, fled from the Scright Gardens towards the west, upon the defeat of Shadow Hand and his Dark Hand army. They rested in Rogodon for a time, until they sensed a rebellion great enough to get on the move once more. The second half, which was mainly Dark Soldiers occupying the Great Sea, had been chased into the southern Outlands during the Reclaiming, in which Soal and the army returned to where they had started their grand quest. Now, as the Congress of Kiwis approaches, Mervis and his followers become secretive, and Porter the Voltale continues to hold the truths from his trainee. When a terrible attack is declared, Soal and a small band of kiwis set out to destroy the Blade of Dark Light once and for all. As other adventures into the Outlands ensue, Articulus's power grows considerably, and there is only one who can stop him. The Un-Character, however, is surviving in a world of mystery, and is confronted with his most difficult decisions as the end of the war draws near. This is the defining final chapter of the Sketch Trilogy, but in order to read it, you must first read The Sketch: The Voyage of Soal, the first installment, and then its continuation, The Sketch: The Advancement of the Hands. The Sketch Survivors: The Secret of Lint Corp by KiwiBeak2004

{Book One in the Sketch Survivors Trilogy} Lint Corp has recognized Samuel Lawrence, or Soal, as a true Un-Character after the events of the original Sketch Trilogy. But they must escort him to the Sketch Facility, far south in Venezuela, in order to conceal the things they will do with him next. Soal is locked in a tight cell for weeks, until a haggard man with a teleporting device comes there to challenge him. If Soal can find a way to outsmart him, he will be allowed the key out. Once that process is finished, however, Soal will never trust the corporation again. The following events will take him to meet new Un-Characters and travel to all kinds of new Sketches. And Lint Corp assigns them on a mission. If they can herd the victorious Articuluses back into another Facility, then Lint Corp will free them. But it soon turns out that the company is worse than Mervis in its trickery. Remember that you must read the Sketch Trilogy before reading this, starting with The Sketch: The Voyage of Soal. When this book is complete, the sequel will be The Sketch Survivors: The Defense of Fort Whal.

Soal and Porter continue to lead them across the Outlands, but both the Un-Character and Retna feel that Articulus is taking advantage of them. As Shadow Hand resumes his plot to kill the Un-Character and help Articulus reach the Genesis Stories, Porter takes the kiwi military towards the three Ruins of the Ages, where clues to defeating Articulus lie. Meanwhile, Soal treks alone through evil-infested territory to find the key to their success. But Articulus's forces are growing faster than ever before, and Soal is the only one who can stop them.
