Nicolette and her sister Rosemarie, have been living on the streets for as long as they can remember. Or, as long as Rosemarie can remember anyway. Nicolette, only 18, has been forced to turn her heart to stone to keep the world -and the people on it- from hurting her and her sister. But when she meets Elizabeth, Marius, Enjolras, Cosette, and gets caught in the middle of the French revolution, will her heart of stone finally break?
