He was living in Avignon with his parents, older sister, and his dog Varneille. His dog was the most important part of his life. Life was not good for Michel. The Germans were taking over the world.   They had taken over the government of his town two years ago. And they would force Michel to be a soldier in just two years. Their only hope were the Americans. The town hoped that the Americans would save them. But then the Americans did something terrible. How would his family survive? They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.

As Elizabeth, the little girl, began to grow up, her mom died, her bother and her dad never showed up again at her house, which left her completely alone. She lost her house, she lost her family and all that she had left was herself. One day, at 16 years old, when she was walking down the street, she suddenly heard gunshots and all hell broke loose in front of her eyes. She was shocked, she didn't know what to do, since she thought that the war was over. However, one guy that was also part of the military, saw her. He looked around her age, and when he saw her standing there without moving, he saved her. This is the story about young love. About the girl who lost everything and about a guy who all he ever wants is for her to have a life again.

War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. The day of the fight, the state of distinction launched a nuke. Yet they had under estimated the power the nuke had. It destroyed both states and it had seemed that no one remained. 3 years latter and a little city had grown out of the destruction. Emma was a resident of that city. Emma had a different childhood than most. "Go fetch the food!" or "Go get the water!" Were the most of chores she had to do. It was grow up fast or die in her city! On Emma's 17 birthday she would be old enough to go out side of the city walls and look for communication to other parts of the world. They had found a part of a cell tower that would finish off there hand made cell tower and needed a search crew to go get it and bring it back. Emma now being old enough she tried out. She had never been outside the city walls. We're most of the adventures have already gone once or twice. Most people have said that they should not send the youngest age, and they just might be right... because Emotions, Guys, and family are all in her way.

But Alina is just a child, or so her brother Otto says, she doesn't understand such things. She doesn't understand the red flags with the black symbols, why certain children can no longer be her classmates, why the world is being stripped of its beauty. Alina shouldn't understand, but she does. But the gift of understanding, once so valued, can be the line between life and death.
