Onyx is an orphan who has been living in the streets of Limway, a northern kingdom with a greedy king, since she was 10. Her parents killed in a tragic accident and no living relatives to speak of, she's been trying to scratch out a living any way she can. Now she has to learn how to survive in this new world of deadly intrigue and betrayals... and wonder whether she was better off in the streets.
