When April was born, Missie went into the Foster system with her younger sister. The Foster family that adopted them is not all that great. There Foster mom, Penny, uses them for work purposes only. And the Foster dad, Hank doesn't even remember they are their half of the time. It make it even harder with Missie and April having a secret. The sisters are not all that normal as you think. They may have a small thing about not being human. Yes, they are vampires. If you are a vampire, around the age of ten you notice thing differently, you get highly allergic to pumpkins and get strange cravings for any sorts of food that are red.
