Wes Rivers has never had much money. He's been working in a coffee shop for five years, in the hopes that he can earn enough money to travel the world.

Mary Anne Munshi has always had a lot of money. She is sat on top of a huge trust fund, but she has no interest in her family's wealth. She'd rather sit alone and write stories than go to a ball.

When Wes discovers Mary Anne's wealth, he decides he has found the answer to all of his problems.
