Rain isn't the church-going type. She's been burned out by her previous congregation, who judged her because of her family's decisions and lifestyles. Her teachers in school speak about evolution, and Rain pretty much agrees with what they're saying because she's never heard the story of Creation in Genesis 1. But then her friend from work, Emily, invites her to church camp, and Rain agrees to go. What will she think when the youth pastor contradicts everything she ever thought to be true? The earth was created in 7 days, including a day for the Lord to rest, he says. And now these 7 days of Encounter Camp are about to change Rain's whole perspective. || first book in the "Encounter" series ||

Jack and Tyler meet at Our Redeemer Baptist Camp when they're seven years old. They're polar opposites, Jack being outgoing and Tyler a nervous wreck, but they quickly become inseparable. Despite the fact that they only see each other for one week every year, they become best friends. When that brotherly love turns into something more, Tyler tries his best to convince himself it's nothing. But when Jack reciprocates that feeling, neither of them know what to do.
