Rain isn't the church-going type.
She's been burned out by her previous congregation, who judged her because of her family's decisions and lifestyles. Her teachers in school speak about evolution, and Rain pretty much agrees with what they're saying because she's never heard the story of Creation in Genesis 1. But then her friend from work, Emily, invites her to church camp, and Rain agrees to go.
What will she think when the youth pastor contradicts everything she ever thought to be true? The earth was created in 7 days, including a day for the Lord to rest, he says. And now these 7 days of Encounter Camp are about to change Rain's whole perspective.

He stood behind her and she moved her hair out of the way as he put it around her neck and clipped it back together. Her hand immediately went to it. "I'm never gone take it off." Til Infinity." --- When an unfortunate sequence of events suddenly separates two bestfriends, Dakari and Honesty, with no plausible reason, it's shakes up the world of the two inseparable individuals. With no goodbyes shared, Dakari was left feeling alone and heartbroken by the sudden disappearance of the only person outside of family that he cared for deeply. The outside world declared Dakari mad at the world, and he didn't think he could ever get over the missing void created by her absence. What Was Left At Camp
I wish to edit this story and make few changes but I am wrapped up in others. This is my first attempt at writing so... hope you like. Edits may happen in time but for now, the story will remain as is. At the age of Seven, Christian came out to his parents. His parents accepted him with open arms but with concerns the world may not, they took matters into their own hands. They raised Christian to be a confident, strong minded young man with the capability of defending himself both mentally and physically. Christian was ready to tackle the world and everything he loved, including Football. At the age of fourteen, he decided he would spend his summer at a well known football camp to perfect his skills. That's where he met his first love and boyfriend, Billy, who disappeared the last week of camp. Four years later, when a new student named William transfers to his school, it throws Christians life into chaos. William reminded Christian of Billy. He was convinced his lost love had been found. One problem, William insisted he wasn't this Billy person Christian assumed him to be. Will Christian ever learn of what happened to his lost love or ruin everything he's worked so hard to accomplish in his attempts to find the truth?Complete
