Takeshi lived a simple life but that would soon change upon meeting and unfortunately getting dragged into the mess that is Issei's life and the DxD group as the Fallen Angels seek to steal his sacred gear. Having no choice, he cooperates with the group to put a stop to it, not knowing that this will only make things more complicating for him later on.
