After losing both parents when she was only six and being rushed away from her childhood home in North Dakota to her original home in East Tennessee, Alexa now faces the challenge of finding friends. She soon discovers that her only happiness is jumping through mirrors to other worlds, alternate worlds, happier worlds. This wonderous gift she has comes with a terrible twist.
