Hostages is about a high school that is struggling to survive an attack without any outside help. As Drew, a mute girl, fights the attackers with several other students, she notices that the attackers seem to have a keen interest in her. As they fight to keep Drew safe from the attackers while staying on the front line, she develops a skill that helps her in her battle, and surprisingly, the attackers know of it too.
