The special ops, the secret service. You've heard of them and know a very vague description of what they do. But you've probably never heard of the numbers. Aki Kitsumtu, also known as Zero, is the top agent in the numbers. Sent on a mission to take out a man named Thorn who runs a company threatening the security of the country, he has to take a cover in order to stay under the radar. Being 19, he enrolls in a senior class in high school. There he meets a boy named Samuel, who helps him around the school on the first day and somehow gets close enough to Aki it becomes questionable. On a side job to take out a growing drug lord, Sam follows Aki and gets caught up in something so much bigger than him, and jumps into a life he never expected, never knew about.

He made me feel comfort in all areas that I'd lacked before. There was something burning in the back of my mind... was he really mines? We only spoke late night, and those conversations were brief. When he was around me he was like a kid in a candy store trying to get his hands on anything he could from me. That was until I saw him... with another. That's where his time had been going.
