Romance | Werewolf

Meet Carabel, she's just moved from England to America to live with her Dad, and with her mom on her honeymoon with her stepdad, she really has nothing to worry about. Not to mention, she has a twin sister too, so I guess that makes it that much more interesting. The only difference between them is the colour of their hair and yet her sister was always considered the 'prettier one'. But coming back to her childhood home she came back to two times per year when she was a kid, she needs to find out how to fit back in again. Many of the people she once knew aren't the same anymore, they've changed and grown up. Not liking to converse that much with anyone she's not close to, she sticks to reuniting with her old best friends. On her birthday, she finds out that who's her mate? Alex Parker, the bad boy. She's human and he's a werewolf. She's a good girl and he's a bad boy. But is that really so? Because you know, good girls are bad girls who haven't been caught, and there may be more to her family history than she already knows.

Coralie loves freedom. And she has always had it. Her mother died during child birth, birthing her and her twin brother Owen, and her father treated them like little adults because of it. He had always been firm, but fair, but always gave them the responsibilities and consequences of adults. Their pack was large, and she was so proud to be a part of it; she couldn't wait for the day that she could run their whole territory, from the sandy southern shores to the muddy forests of the North. Her and Owen accompanied their father, the Alpha, on many occasions, clinging to his fur as he ran through the moonlight, until both of them fell asleep in the early morning light. She couldn't wait to be part of it all first hand though, running, howling, flying over the ground, and most of all the freedom! There was only one part of the changing she wasn't ready for; having a mate. She wanted to avoid it at all costs, though it happened to most people the first few days, she wanted to be a rare case who never found one. She would not go looking for him, ever... but what happens when he finds her? "A guy isn't going to care if you're laughing with a dude," he said. "You laugh with friends. You do this with someone who is more than friends." Wolf placed his hands on my waist, pulling me in flush with his body. He dipped his head to my ear and whispered, "See? No one that looked at us right now would think we're friends." ------------------------------- When Savannah's long term boyfriend, Tripp, breaks up with her out of the blue before their annual summer lake vacation, she's devastated. Enter Wolf. He's the son of her parents' best friends, who happen to share a connecting lake condo. Savannah hasn't seen Wolf in two years since he stopped coming on family vacations. He's notorious for trouble, the exact opposite of Savannah. Wolf shows up one day and suggests that they pretend to be in a relationship during their two week vacation. He's convinced that his mom's adoration of "good girl" Savannah will change her mind about his recent house arrest. In exchange, Wolf suggests Savannah can use their fake relationship to lure Tripp back by making him jealous. Savannah is hesitant, but is just desperate enough for Tripp's attention that she agrees. Spending time with Wolf on their pretend dates becomes a problem when Savannah begins to have feelings for him. After all, Wolf is off limits. Her best friend has a major crush on him, and Savannah is supposed to be with someone sensible like Tripp, not the lead singer of the high school rock band, Wolf and the Midnight Shepherds. In the end, Savannah will need to decide if falling for Wolf is worth the consequences.
