So this is a new story that I've been working on the idea of for a while. Some things will be real (name, reform school, song names, etc...) but some things are purely fiction and hopefully no one takes offence. Jorel is an only child in this and has an abusive father and a dead mother, none of which hold any traction in the real world. The boys are also all 18 and in grade 12 to save from confusion.

***

Jorel Decker has been abused my his dad his entire life. His mom died in a car crash when he was 7 and his dad was never the same. He went to reform school for a few years but he's back and is about to start his first day of grade 12 in a real highschool.

In no time he meets 5 guys he thinks are the biggest blessing in his life. First day of school and already meeting great people?

But nothing's gone right for Jorel so far, and he's scared, not that he'd ever show it. When he notices a girl, an amazing girl, and one of his new friends taking advantage of her, what will he do for his friends? And what will he do for her?

HIGHEST RANKING: 303 IN SCIENCE FICTION Isaac Crowley is your average 15 year old boy. He is a sophomore in high school, plays sports, and hangs out with his friends. Everything in his life is in control, and he knows that he has a bright future ahead. Then the dreams start happening. His best friend Lucy gets hit by a car. He dreams it, and then, it happens again two days later. He tells his parents, his friends, anyone that he can, but they all think that it's just a coincidence. These dreams begin to happen regularly, and the mounting suspense drives Isaac crazy as he tries to diffuse the situation inside his dreams, find someone that he can trust, and prove to his parents that something's wrong. But he spirals further and further down the rabbit hole, and creates a web of lies. NOTE: Well, I just published the story, and It's on Amazon, with this link: http://www.amazon.com/Lucid-Ari-Liam-Lohr/dp/069260765X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452182800&sr=8-1&keywords=Ari+Lohr This story will probably become just a preview, so I can sell the book. Anyways, thanks for all of your support, guys! I really appreciate it. Once again, thanks for supporting me in the whole process of this book so far. You guys are the reason that I do this. ANOTHER NOTE: Readers, this book's name has changed to "Lucid." I thought that it was more fitting of a name. What do you think? THIRD NOTE: If a chapter is marked "Revised," then I am completely done with it and will probably not update it again.

"You should care, Dylan. You would still be living in the back of a car, stealing from Seven Eleven! Is that what you want?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The "Four Musketeers." That's what they called them. If they weren't all together they were two on two. And they give zero fucks about life. The Adopted one The Bad boy The Player The Best friend Dylan is like most troubled girls. She doesn't care about her grades, she skips school, hangs with the wrong crowds, and hates her parents. But of course there's a reason for all of this. Dylan is adopted. Dylan has always struggled with being adopted and she tends to fight everything in life. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. He would die a thousand times over before anyone hurt Dylan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Dylan's not just my whole life, she makes my life whole. Some days she's the only reason I get out of bed. Without her in my life there is no point in living. She's like the air I breathe. Without her I can't live. She's my best friend and I will love her to the day I die." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This summer Dylan gets the opportunity to do what every guidance counselor has claimed she's always wanted to do . . . split up her family. Will she realize splitting up her family won't help anything? Or will she just not care? After all she was abandoned once. (Under Major Editing) this story contains descriptive self-mutilation, character death, alcohol abuse, drug/substance abuse, and bits of violence. (ANYONE WHO IS UNDER 16 AND IS CURRENTLY SUICIDAL, DEALING WITH OR EXPERIENCING THOUGHTS OF SELF-HARM PLEASE JUST CHOOSE A DIFFERENT STORY. THIS ISNT A FUN RIDE) Johnny has always been different, the gang knew that. He was always doing something to be proud of but he'll forever be a greaser unless his folks actually started to care for him, and even then, he'll always be an outcast, a delinquent. Johnny doesn't mind that though, he likes it the way it is, but he mainly would just like things to be different at home, but he's content with the gang. He was okay with them. Until his father dies. His old man had always treated him like shit anyway, but there was something inside that was crushed. Dad would sometimes help little Johnny out, it was his mother that had made things worse for him. After his death, Johnny couldn't cope much anymore, he was used to being able to, but now his emotions were out of control. He starts to spiral downwards. The gang is with him the whole time and tries their hardest to keep him at his best, but Johnny becomes irrational, too unpredictable for the gang to even understand but Johnny doesn't go down alone, he brings someone with him.
