Lady Catherine Howard is simply impossible. A prankster at heart, she enjoys mischief and fun, but as the daughter of the esteemed Duke of Norfolk, Catherine is doomed (in her eyes) to be engaged to one of the snobbish pricks on her father's list of possible suitors, ending all her time for amusement. Spunky and free-willed, Catherine refuses to allow herself to be reduced to a piece of meat to be fought over. Instead, she decides to take matters into her own hands, and eliminate each of these "honorable" suitors one by one. But soon, she will discover that life LOVES to throw curveballs, in the form of... well, let's just call it 'a challenge'. (Set in the year 1837)

 "Are you really?" she asked, amusedly, humoring him
"Undoubtedly. I am, after all, of the highest caliber. You would have to be utterly daft to refuse me."
"Well, then," she replied gathering up her skirts, "I suppose that is what I am!" 

He fell into the pond with a splash. 

Later, she was questioned by her father's advisor as to just how her last suitor could have possibly stormed into the tower, soaked to the bone, muttering about insipid, insane women and their penchant for extremely deadly shoes, to be escorted out by her mother. She simply laughed in reply and said that she could not possibly have pushed him in. She, an innocent girl! Suitor number 32 simply went mad, had a heat stroke and jumped into the pond! Or did he just find that little duck in the middle of the pond adorable? Hmmm. She would not know. 
Two hours later, she was confined to her room, with two guards patrolling her doors. Needless to say, fabrication was not her forte. Nor, was sarcasm, really.All Rights Reserved
