Psychedelic Monsters are going extinct as the drug war rages on. They contain an enormous amount of hallucinogens and as well as these "feel good" chemicals. Apollo is one of them, but he is very unaware of what's going on with himself and his own body. As he tries to learn more about his race, he becomes more and more unstable as he participates in the academy, a place where they teach teens how to fight each other to become leader. Survivors have split into factions and are forming rival gangs in which they are disappearing at exponential rates due to government kidnappings. Rumor is, the government is planning a meta human attack by altering the dna of those who've been taken. Once word is out everyone has to decide whether gang related battles are more important than life itself as they know it. If that isn't enough they join forces with omniscient beings, extraterrestrials, and some beings that cant really be put into one category. They find that the government isn't all laws and science and that the battle they're facing is way more complex than they could have ever imagined.
