Shadow-Men

Every human is linked with a creature called a Shadow-Man. This creature stays with you from the day you enter this world until you depart from it. They are commonly known as "boogey men" or "the monster under your bed". The Shadow-Men earned their names from the fact that they follow one specific human like a shadow and they are more powerful in the dark. Their purpose in this world is to feed. They feed on the most precious power source of all, human life. Most Shadow-Men wait until the life is aged at least eighty years, but others are impatient. People don't know of their presence though. This is because the people who actually see them face-to-face were never seen again.
