"I think you like me, but you are just afraid to admit it." I scoffed and crossed my arms,"Okay one, I don't like you, and two, if I did, why would I be afraid to admit it?" Axel walked towards me,"Because baby doll, it's like every cliché story, nerdy geek falls for the handsome quarterback, but he is so handsome and popular, that the nerdy geek knows the he can never like her back." I felt my jaw drop to the floor, a thought slowly coming into my mind. I walked over to him with a flirtatious smile on my lips, he smirked and leaned forward. I placed my hand on his arm and as soon as he started to lean in, I kneed him where the sun don't shine. He doubled over and groaned, I took the opportunity to lean into his ear,"Sorry to tell you, but this isn't some cliché story." I turned around and started to walk out of the library, when I heard a low growl and felt a large, warm hand grab my arm. I felt myself be pushed into the wall and felt Axel's warm breath on my face,"But oh baby doll it is."

I took a deep breath, clutching my handbag tightly. "Yes, Adrian," i said, my voice trembling but steady enough. "Your son. I didn't get the abortion like you wanted me to." The room went silent, as if the air had been sucked out. Adrian blinked, clearly stunned by my words. He opened his mouth, then closed it again, at a loss. "My son?" he finally said, his voice incredulous. "What are you talking about?" "She's just some crazy fan," his father interjected, stepping forward, his tone sharp and dismissive. "Don't pay her any attention, Adrian." My blood boiled. "Crazy fan?" I said, my voice rising. I turned to Adrian's father, my eyes blazing with anger. "I'm the girl your spent prom night with. Does that ring any bells? Or do you make it a habit to treat people like disposable trash?" Adrian's gaze darted to his father, then back to me. Something flickered in his eyes-recognition, perhaps-but it was faint. "Prom night..." he murmured, as though trying to pull the memory from the depths of his mind. "That's right," I said, folding my arms. "The night you told me I had beautiful eyes, kissed me under the stars, and made me believe I was something special. Do you remember now? Because I do." Adrian's expression changed, his guarded demeanor faltering for a moment. He took a small step back, as if trying to process everything at once. "Wait... I... Are you saying...?" "I had your baby, Adrian," I said, my voice steady now. "His name is Kelvin, and he's eight years old. And all he wants for Christmas is to meet his dad." ..............................................................
