Ever since that one day, Tate and Mila have been best friends but everyone knows how a girl and a boy freindship will eventually end which is why they promise eachother to stay friends. When they grow up enough to start dating and going through their teenage life. Mila dosen't want Tate to catch feeling because she is starting to fall for the 'school hottie' Evan. When they do end up in a relationship, after a while Evan wants her to stop talking to Tate. (Her only friend since everyone was jealous of her.) She continues the unhealthy relationship because her head has made her believe she is inlove him Evan when in reality its her actual heart which loves Tate. When she expresses her actual feeling to her best friends she gets heart broken again, but remember whats meant to happen will happen in a matter of time. Even if it means years.

Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
