Borstal Boy is a Punk Rock Opera telling the true story of David Clarke originally told in his book, “Converted on LSD Trip”.

It tells the story of two brothers, Michael and David Clarke, who grew up in Aylesbury in the 60’s. They were Mods but Michael spent two spells in Oxford Detention Centre and then Rochester Borstal.

David lived in the light and fame of his brothers notoriety with the Aylesbury Mods.

On Michael’s release from Borstal they teamed up together and were soon sent to prison for malicious wounding and carrying a fire arm without a license. Michael was sent to Maidstone Prison and David to Dover Borstal.

On leaving Dover Borstal in 1968 Dave had a three year career of undetected crime until he was arrested but not by the police. He had a bad experience on LSD on the 16th January 1970 and called out to God for help. As a result he became Christian and turned from his life of crime, overnight and went on the straight and narrow.

David learned to read, as he was virtually illiterate when he left school, educated himself, went on to Higher Education and became lecturer and taught electronics of over 20 years, in colleges of Higher and Further Education. He joined the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist Church, became a baptist minister in 1982 and preached the gospel in many churches in England.

His brother Michael however was unaffected and continued his flamboyant and criminal life style and ended up in prison, in the Philippines, 25 years later, serving a 16 year prison sentence, where he died of tuberculosis.

The story is told using punk rock classic music performed live. This is written to tell the good that has come out of David's work in visiting Michael in prison and assisting in the reformation of many other convicted criminals and for prison inmates in in the UK order to asset them in their rehabilitation.

| Happy Lowman x OC - COMPLETED | Sunshine. That's how they, her family and friends, called Cassie Connor most of the time. With her brunette hair, the ocean blue eyes and a smile that was wide but never reached her eyes she was one of the prettiest in the small town she lived in. Tacoma wasn't so big and lots of people knew each other. Many loved her for her kindness, others envied her. However, Cassie never understood how anyone could envy her. A life where her father was gone and a mother who never cared much about her children, a big brother who had barely time and a little brother who was out of control, was anything but easy. On top of that she recently lost her job as a nurse and slipped back into her party phase. Wake and bake became her new motto. Her heavy cannabis use not only worried her brother but also his best friend, Happy Lowman. The heavily tattooed biker was part of SAMCRO since years, yet he made sure to visit every few months⸺ especially since he still shared an apartment in town with Cassie. They always had been close and had that type of friendship everyone wanted. That was until he left town to start a new life in Charming, leaving her with an emptiness no one else could fill, yet she understood why he had to leave. When Happy visited Tacoma again after a long time, he quickly realized that Cassie was just as close to the abyss as her younger brother, whom he had picked up in California and brought with him. "She is a boy?" "No. He is a girl" "Whatttt!!!!" ********* This is the story of a cool nerd, Kate. Now you know where the story's going? A cool nerd fell in love with the bad boy and changed him? No ways. How cliche is that. She is actually forced by circumstances to disguise herself as her brother and live in an only boys dorm. Where she met her long lost love (sarcasm) Jason. Now you would say that he tormented her but eventually fell in love with her? Hey it's not that cliche as well. No more secrets are opening readers. Please read the book to know what's not the cliche part in it?. Thank You ❤
