Nogitsune Ashland was a 19-year-old enigma shoved into a pair of skinny jeans and wrapped up into a heavily sarcastic and socially awkward package topped with a pretty bow and she had a secret. A dangerous secret.

After being offered a job in Beacon Hills, California at the local high school she moves herself across the world with hopes that she will leave behind a past she'd rather forget and start a new chapter of her life .

Upon arrival she finds that not everything is as it seems and though the city limits said 'Welcome to Beacon Hills' it was anything but welcoming. Nogitsune finds herself dealing with everything from serial killers and homicidal Alphas to mystical tricksters and jealous students.

At the same time she has to juggle her job, keep her abilities a secret and stay off the radar of overly curious students. Especially the spastic Stiles Stilinski whose whiskey colored eyes can't seem to stay off of her.

Will she keep her secrets and protect herself or will she find herself six feet under with a piece of garotte wire wrapped around her neck?
