Shadow gravestone (interesting name don't you think )is a 19 year old firecracker she's strong, gorgeous , sexy , and an intelligent girl living in New York City. Since she was kicked out at 16 after being abused for 2 years by her bitchy step-mom and drunken bastard of a father.

She has worked hard to get into NYC university she owns a small apartment she is a streetfighter for a living and she is as kind and gentle as they come ,but she loves fighting when it's necessary only.

Alec however is a guy struggling to get his shit together. He works 3 jobs to pay his rent and he goes to the same college as shadow ,but as bubbly a person as shadow is on the outside she had her heart broken to many times to count. Alec is strong, sexy and cocky he's also a nerdy badass.
