It's the 1920's, Dipper and Mabel are sent east to Chicago to go live with their Grunkle Stan. Despite it being the 1920's Dipper is still loves sci-fi and being a detective, Mabel is still wacky and enjoys crafts and being herself. Dipper gets himself in trouble with the gangs in Chicago and even the deceased gang lord of Chicago, Bill Cipher (he's a human in this au) I got most of my ideas for the story from Tybay on Deviantart, it's really good!! and since no one has written the story for it I'm going for it!!!

What they didn't realized is that Dipper had been stealing there money and jewels this whole time. Dipper uses his shop keeper job as a cover up this whole time. There the second highest gang in Gravity Falls called "Demons.". The leader of the group is Bill cipher. His gang member's are William(Will) cipher, Star, Andrew and Lady widow.The Demons were like family. Bill and Will helped them when they needed it the most and now they were family. They all have The Gift that everyone wanted. The highest Gang of them all is a young man that doesn't have a team. He's a solo man. No one's ever meant him in person before, but one little lady. The God and the Thief
Cipher is the "God" of the forest around Gravity Falls and it's his job to protect it and it's creatures. He does his job well until two young twins wonder into him home. He watches them at first and lets them live. The boy seems much more interested in all the weird things in the forest than the girl but other than that they looked harmless. Till a few days later Bill finds he's missing his journal, where he logs all his creatures and their actions. Panicked and pissed he reaches his whole forest and the whole town. Making the people fear him and the forest. But he had no luck finding his journal. Years later the Pines twins come back to Gravity Falls, and Dipper brings his favorite book, a beaten old journal filled with fictional creatures and nonclinical notes. {{{THIS IS A SLOW BURN BOOK.
