A short story about a clan that wanted to learn more of the unknown,but created a gate way to a new dimension called "The Hallow Realm" and sealed it away. They lived on til one day they were killed off and continued the bearing of the seal by cursing the mayor who ordered their death.
A/N: If you want a continuation or another story like this one or longer, leave a comment on the last page. This ending was a little rushed, but I have more ideas for continuing it. Thank you.

Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. She never had anything. A name, a family, a home. Since she was born she was locked up by her family in their basement to be experimented on. For she was loved by the spirits and have the potential to gain their power. So they wanted to find a way to take it from her. But one day after she has lived for 7 years a powerful knight cut down her family and wanted to adopt her. She who has never been loved dont trust anyone but the spirits, but she has nowhere to go and can't survive on her own. So she accepts the knight's offer because the knights spirit tells her that she will be safe with her.
Desires of the Obsessed
Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that? Not a bad attempt in my opinion, although it could be better... Try it out!
