Space travel has been a dream of humanity since we first looked at the stars. Finally, in the year 2056, this is finally a reality. 17-year old Luna Gonzales's father has been chosen to go on a mission to Europa-one of Jupiter's moons, and the best source of life in their solar system. When the mission goes sideways and extraterrestrials are taking notice of Earth-and not in a good way. They come to Earth and begin to reform the planet, but one of them befriends the 17-year old, and they form an unlikely friendship. Until scientists found a planet only couple light years away that is a sister planet to Earth. No one has ever been on this planet before and is unsure what will people find there. So on the year B18, all children born within that year were taken from their families and sent into a spaceship to be trained and prepared for the landing of this new planet.
