Andre Davis is your regular seventeen year old boy. He has two best friends, a girlfriend, and goes to school. Well, he's not quite normal for he's super rich and is crushing on another guy. The thing is, he doesn't know that second part yet.
In his world, it's illegal to be homosexual and if you have sex with someone of the same gender, you will get a full body tattoo of thick black lines and swirls. They are known as the Devil's Tattoo by most.
For the past few months, Andre has been having nightmares that he can't remember and each time, he remembers a little bit more of them and they are all about blood and death.
When Andre meets a girl with the Devil's Tattoo, he feels compelled to help her. What he doesn't realize, is as soon as he helps her, he loses everything he once owned. But that doesn't mean he's alone and has nothing. He's just starting a whole new life with his eyes finally opened to the lies his government tells them all. Lufi Muhamad, an insomniac college dropout with mild anxiety, opens up a Tattoo Parlor right across the street from a small Flower Shop. The day after opening, he finds a bouquet on the doorstep of his parlor. He looks across the street and sees a blue-eyed boy with dirty blonde hair opening the flower shop, and something within him stirs. Deimos Alexander, a hyper ADHD 20-year-old, was shocked when he realized that a new business had opened up across the street. He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist. Trigger Warning: While this book is a majority fluff there are a few angsty bits that face some grim topics including child abuse, dangerous parents, alcohol abuse, homophobia, transphobia, and harassment. This story includes quite a bit of swearing as well (blame my trucker dad for that) so viewer discretion is advised. No Smut whatsoever in this book.
