I realize I will probably get comments from people taking offense because they feel personally affronted, but it is simply a general observation of a broad social issue.
In particular I do not wish to offend people who engage in a promiscuous lifestyle because it makes them happy (the freedom of being single gives them pleasure). This is just supposed to be a message to those of us who struggle with the idea of faithfulness because of hurt and fear, of which I am sure there are many of us.

Single, but not alone
One of the hardest things that any Christian goes through is feeling alone and abandoned. Its hard to describe the feeling of rejection, the torture of not being accepted for who we are affects us more than we are ready to admit. Sometimes, in our being single, we hate the condition of singleness so much that we always want to be in relationships. Relationships are not bad. But, singleness plays a vital role in getting into healthy and godly relationships. In this book, I want to give you all the reasons why being single is good and awesome. My prayer for you is that God manifests Himself in you while you are single. But remember, you are not alone.Concluida
SAVE YOUR MARRIAGE And Develop A Lifelong Love
The Bible says: Choose faithfulness; divorce is not an option. "Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage." Hebrews 13:4 "But Ruth said, "Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you."(Ruth 1:16-17) Lifelong commitment reflects and grows out of a realization that God created marriage and gave it to men and women as a priceless gift. Malachi 2:15 says, "God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage...so guard the spirit of marriage within you." "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate" (Matthew 19:6). Remember, the retreat is easy when you have the option. As the Bible says, "So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." (James 2:17). It's the same way in personal relationships. Having faith in something that literally isn't there but is is tiring. Also, the world hates you and you have to fight against the one thing you can't escape, sin. Choosing to fight this battle puts a target on your mind and sometimes body, and it can make or break you. ... Seems useless, right? Maybe, but it isn't, because either way it goes, we can't change it. It's scary, new, fun, and boring all at the same time. It's... not something humans would regularly do. But I'm taking the challenge and attempting to make it to a place called Heaven.
