Ava is a 15 year old girl who lives with her mom and three brothers, James, Harry, and William (Will for short). Her life was pretty normal...that is, until her family moved to a house upon a big hill. It was big, spacious and empty, and it hadn't been used for years. The price is super low, so of course, they move in. But...soon, Ava is beginning to feel weird...and peculiar things start to happen around the house. Her brothers and her start investigating, first just for fun, but then they find odd objects and symbols. One by one, her brothers go missing, and her mom dissapears. Ava is alone and scared, but she has to try to look around the house for her family. Along the way, she finds dark secrets about the house...

Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried.
