A girl who doesn't know who she is, is sent on a mission to kill the king. She was told that if she accomplished this she would see her family again. The problem is she doesn't have any of her memories. Oh, and she's dead. She is torn between wanting t know who she or leaving her true self in the dark. She doesn't know if she wants to go through with killing the king. She doesn't know if she really wants to see her family again. She likes her new self. She knows that the life she is living now was not who she used to be or ever dreamed of being. She goes through lots of challenges that test her strength, knowledge, and conscious.

Suzie is just a normal girl from district 2 whos family has died because of the cruel Capitol, and all she wants is to do is be with them again. She figures the best way to finally be with her family again is to volunteer for the hunger games. Then someone else could kill her and she wouldn't have to kill herself. Also her father was in the games and she wanted to make him proud. So she comes up with a plan to go around all the districts gathering different types of skills and once she gets back to district 2 she will volunteer. Making her father proud was the thing she loved to do the most. Her father was her idol. But she doesnt have to volunteer. Suzie Timmer thought she would never get chosen at the reaping because she is not apart of any of the districts except district 2. But the Capitol figures out her plan, they figure out what she has been doing, so they purposly pull her name out at the reaping in district 4... They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing.
