Fifteen-year old Harmony Lakes has a loving family. A mom, a dad, a lovely home; cliche but still very lovely... or should I say HAD a loving family. When her father left the family when she was nine, her mother thought that abusing Harmony and drinking would ease the pain, though it didn't. Now that Harmony is ready to step into her sophomore year of high school, she can no longer take the suffering, the pain, the threats, the feeling you get after you've been slapped in the face. She is ready for out, just ready to escape, with the help of a faithful friend Nadette; but what happens when your own mother is throwing a knife towards your face?
