A small family leads a normal life, where the kids have crushes, the dad has a good job, and the mom helps at home. Except for the fact that their shadows are living, sentient beings smarter than the average person. Regardless, they live their lives as plain people living in a nice suburban area. But, when a party becomes a scene out of Jurassic Park, the Brighton kids, Josh, Ben and Rachel discover that they posses magic-like abilities, which their shadows posses the opposite of. Events then take a turn for the weird- well, as weirder as it can be when your shadows' talk. A mysterious, malintentive person, a fearsome alien bounty hunter, and every monster and baddie dreamed up in the world are just a few of the foes they will encounter. With the universe against them, these triplets will need all the powers they can muster- and all the powers of their Opposites as well- to save both our worlds.

First and foremost, this is a fanfictional revision or fanfictional reimagining of Jurassic Park 3. If you are not a fan of revisions/reimaginings, this is not the story for you. It's mainly linked with my AvP universe I put together as the AvP character in this story is the main character of those stories. She may only be seventeen years old in this story, but she has technically lived longer than that and done a great many things before getting stranded on Isla Sorna with my main Jurassic oc. So... this is a different approach to some fanfiction that I've previously written. This is a story circled around two groups of friends. When the quad squad (plus DAGames *Quintic squad???*) move to LA, California, they thought they were escaping some psycho ex-girlfriends. However, they come across their favorite YouTubers, Squad Zone, and instantly forget the yanderes that want to keep two boys for themselves. The two groups form one and hearts are met together, joining into 5 couples that quickly become best friends with each other. *PLEASE NOTE!!!! Some characters are made to seem like complete jerks, but it's only for the story. I don't hate ANY of the characters mentioned that seem to be antagonists! It's just for the story!*

Being genetically engineered means they both have power on an extraordinary level. They are sent out to hunt people down and kill them, against their will. If they don't do as they are told, they are punished. They don't want to kill people but they have no choice if they want the other to live. Because Erin and Josh have a bond so strong that hurting one, means hurting the other. Killing one, means killing the other. Neither of them want the other to die. When they are sent out to kill a boy who is the biggest threat to Triple, they both realise that this is so much bigger than them. With the help of Charlie, they start to free themselves from Triple's grip, but can they free the world as well as themselves? For they have only each other.

Aliens have been here before... one was left behind. Eighteen-year- old Zoe must find him and she doesn't have much time. Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. If the extraterrestrials go too long without Qi, people on the alien planet will die. However, when Qi is extracted from Earth, the weak and elderly of Earth will die. The beacon can only be activated by the alien who was left here and only when the planets are in a particular alignment. The next time is only two months away during the Autumnal Equinox. When Zoe discovers who the alien is, it's a complete game changer because the alien is closer to her than she ever could have imagined. The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.

It doesn't make sense. How is any of it possible? Where does the plot line link? Why care about some random teen aliens? Oh, God, why does it get dark so fast? In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
