Distance Inbetween

Saiya Ueda, is from a small town. She's an ace in music and is greatly athletic. She's on her way to take her exam, but encounters a strong mid-summer storm. With a limited time to get to her exam, while dealing with traffic, she's racing against time. She decides to take a short cut and she goes through the small path that leads to the other side of the road. Being only two lights away from the school, she begins to run through the rain. At the cross walk to the school, she runs across, but doing so recklessly, without realizing that a driver had lost control of the car, and was sliding across the street. Closing in on her she attempts a jump to get out of the way, but with no sight of success. Suddenly, engulfed in a bright light, she began to lose consciousness. Waking up to a strange and unfamiliar place, slow panic starts to arise from deep within.

Upon realizing that this is not her "time", she has to learn and blend into this new world that she's entered. Making new friends, training, falling in love, new experiences. This all happen as she continues to thrive and find a way back. But will she be able to or will she give up on that thought and continue to stay here.
