Something strange is happening in Vault 16...
When the female dwellers begin to go infertile, the one-and-only remaining fertility doctor begins to realize something:
If the pattern doesn't break, there won't be a Vault 16 for much longer.
I do not own any of the rights to Fallout, or to any of the trademarks thereof. This could be considered fanfiction, although it could also be classified as scifi/fantasy because you wouldn't necessarily need a backstory of the Fallout universe to be able to understand this story. So, let's call it both :P

What Once Was Home

"I could not begin to put into words the hiraeth that the Welsh feel for the mountains and valleys of their homeland" That's what Y/N found themselves feeling; In a world they didn't want, but a world they found themselves in. Y/N is stuck with the task of surviving a world they only saw in their worst nightmares to find their kidnapped son; armed with nothing but the vault suit on their back, a police baton, and a 10mm pistol to protect them; they only have a two options . . find their child . . or die trying This fanfic follows the events of Fallout 4 with a few added things along the way. I will try to keep with neutral pronouns as well as no real set appearance. although there will be some things that will be set. this is Y/N fanfic and there will be romance endings for Cait, Curie, Danse, Deacon, John Hancock, Robert MacCready, Nick Valentine, Piper Wright, and Preston Garvey. Sorry if you wanted some of the other companions like X6-88 (there are some companions that I haven't romanced before like Piper and Curie so I will try my best with them) I have completed the entire base game multiple times so I have a decent idea on what's going on but if I do get something incorrect please tell me and I will try my best to fix it. :] good day!
Invading a Beast World
All contact was lost when the last human army was encircled and destroyed in the arctic, no human contacts have ever been reported since the last army. Earth was officially lost as the last army protected the evacuation into space, many years have passed since then, and the likeliness of any human resistants on Earth have long since faded. Humanity struggled to adapt and survive on the distant planet of Mars in our solar system, the cold red deserts have challegened humanity beyond its capacity to live and yet humanity prevailed by all means. The Mythical War planet was finally tamed as many colonies have grown to full fledged cities capable of providing humanity on Mars the means to survive. The world has seen many technological advances since the end of the war between Ukraine and Russia, which was both a blessing and a curse. Izzy Belvin, a famous genetic engineer, is about to blast off to the "final" frontier to join the second Martian Colony, where she'll continue creating nutrient-robust insects for farms that will feed the colony and increase its sustainability. For Izzy's remaining days on Earth, her psychopharmacologist best friend, Nakomi, begs her to complete a bucket list before leaving as a means of honoring their friendship. The first bucket list item: going to one of Portland's psychedelic centers together and taking Vivectica ™, a potent psychedelic drug (synthesized by none other than Nakomi) that has become a popular form psyche-therapy. Izzy reluctantly agrees, and when she encounters a hyper-intelligent reptilian entity on her trip, she can't convince herself that he wasn't real. The days are ticking down until her trip, but Izzy, becoming obsessed with the creature, can't get over her feelings that either 1) she's given herself drug-induced psychosis right before her journey to the red planet, or 2) there's something out there, something beyond space... This novel is a wacky trip with some sprinklings of HORTON HEARS A WHO and ANT-MAN, along with lots of palatable metaphysics. ***This is my entry for the 2022 Open Novella Contest.Complete
Futuristic World (Furry X Human)
It was a normal day for Y/N.. until you agree to help run a test that scientist are trying to do. They tell you that it's a new teleporting device. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. You have to figure out where you are, and how to get back home.. but that won't be easy when people find out a new species just arrived in the city. I don't own any of the art used in the story. Fallen Star
This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.
