There's an island off the coast of the Pacific called Isalt, where all the special people go. Anyone who could make a difference in the economy is sent there. It is ruled nobly by Lord Morgan and Erica Griffith. A few years back they had a child named Courtney but since she showed no potential for having any magical abilities she was sent away. A few years later she has become one of the smartest people on earth, the people of Isalt are considering letting her back on the island but Disalt supporters believe that Isalt should only be for MAGICAL people. Without their parents permission the cousins Lucy, Jake, and Darren send out the signal. Courtney wakes up on the shores of Isalt the next day.
