Peeta and Katniss are back in the Hunger Games. Back in the Quarter Quell. After the romantic moment they share along the beach together, they decide they have to leave the group. And when they do, the rebels plan to extract them works. They get both Katniss and Peeta out.
Katniss thinks all is fine when she arrives to district twelve. Little does she know, that the districts are being bombed. People were needed to defend them and help the wounded. And the first three people to volunteer; Gale, Prim, and Finnick.
During a routine march through the district, Snow finds them, capturing them and sending them to the Capitol.
He try's out a new technique to Panem, called 'Hijacking'. Which he uses on one of them.
As Katniss fights for the districts and gets back to the ones she loves; Peeta's fighting to keep her safe at all cost.
Will the duo's romance fade? Will the districts fall to President Snow? Will Gale and Prim make it out Alive? Will everything end after Snow is dead?

The Hunger Games - Veteran
50 years since the war which broke the Hunger Games on Panem, Katniss and Peeta are the last living tributes left. As the memories of why everyone fought for freedom fades they hold strong to keep the honor of those they've lost still alive. Yet there's a fire burning through the capitol. Everything they fought against is creeping back with the new generation and a new election. The districts, the power outs, the hatred between the new capitol and the workers outside of it. After a tragic turn of events there's a call to bring back the Hunger Games. Will Katniss, Peeta and their family still have the fighting spirit to keep the peace. Or will the see their new Panem become just like the old one. Authors note: I wanted to write a story about a strong older aged woman. After Snow Falls
The Capitol has fallen and all of President Snow's supporters have scattered. Many await their fate at the hands of an angry public or the scheming of their past colleagues. But Charasija Snow has a different fate. As the granddaughter of the late President Snow, the most hated man in the country, her parents had but two choices. One, let her share in their death and end the family line or two, send her away with a new face, new identity and nowhere to return home to. If she could go back she might have asked them to choose the first. But no one gave her a choice. Charasija is given the name Winter and sent to grow up in an orphanage alongside other Capitol children.
