Link slumped against the bars.
"So... Your name is Link?" Fiora asked hesitantly.
"Yeah. But it might be better if I had no name. I failed to take out Ganondorf when I had the chance," Link mumbled.
"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. At least you tried to do something," Fiora assured him.
"We've got to get out of here and save Princess Zelda," Link decided. He stood back up straight an began checking each of the bars.
"How are we supposed to do that? Ganondorf made it sound like you were crippled, and I'm nothing more than one of Zelda's handmaidens," Fiora protested.
"I'm not entirely crippled. I'm better than I was before. I may not have all my strength back, but I'm more or less normal until I have another pain attack," Link explained. He moved to the cell wall and began tapping various stones.
"Do those happen often?" Fiora asked.
"Not as much as they used to."

The story of Ghirahim and Fi continues. Many years have passed since the world flooded and Ganon was sealed beneath the waves. Having no further duties as the Master Sword, Fi is reincarnated and given another life as a human. Ghirahim's situation, however, is complicated. He is alive, but not the same. Can he reawaken Fi's memories, and will she forgive him after everything he's done? Even then, how will their lives continue as they are? Ganondorf finds his way to the Sacred Realm, where he reaches the Triforce. But something changes, and he feels compassion for those he's hurt. As he makes his wish on the Triforce, everything around him changes. Link is just a Kokiri boy, and his life is perfect. Until the Great Deku Tree calls for him to take up a trial. Then, his adventure begins. He must find out what has changed because things are not as they should be. He learns that something changed in Ganondorf, and he is not the man he is supposed to be. What exactly happened to Ganondorf? Why is he so different than he's been told to be? Can Link figure out why things have changed? ~ * ~ WARNING! But one day all of that changes, when Link gets a mysterious letter, and without saying a word, disappears. She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. "Well, Wild? This is your Hyrule. Have you figured out why we're here?" Time asked. "Yeah." Wild swallowed thickly, forcing bile down his throat. "Well?" Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived. "Come on. We're heading towards Zora's Domain." A gang-meets-Wild fic with an actual plot (I think). Tears of a Broken Kingdom ~ {After OoT/MM} now C O M P L E T E ~~ Ganondorf has been executed but trouble is beginning to brew in the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is left alone when Link suffers from the hand of fate and she has to stay strong for her country and her son. Din and Farore have turned against Hyrule, and when Zelda makes a shaky decision, it could spell the end for Hyrule. "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" >*< Disclaimer~~ This story contains torture, death, blood/gore, grieving/depression, symptoms of PTSD, mild self-harm, and mention of suicide.
