We all crave something after the world ends. Safety. Forgiveness. A place to belong. Rebecca Greene has spent her life surviving-war, loss, and a world that keeps demanding more than it gives back. When everything falls apart, she finds herself carrying not just her own grief, but the lives and memories of the people who cling to her for safety. Between the dead she can't save and the children she refuses to abandon, Rebecca learns that home isn't a place you return to-it's something you build, piece by fragile piece, out of love, loyalty, and loss. Alone but not alone, Catherine drifts into a fragile sanctuary-a quiet farm where grief simmers beneath the surface and strangers guard their dead like secrets. Haunted by her past and hardened by loss, she doesn't plan on staying. But the people here are different. And some of them, like the quiet man with the crossbow and the storm in his eyes, see more than she's willing to show.
Broken Promises
It's been fifteen years since Daryl and Elizabeth last saw each other. Nothing has changed except the world has ended and the dead have started to walk the earth. After reuniting on her Uncle's farm, how would these now 40-year-olds work together for the sake of survival? Sequel to Whispered Promises I don't own any of the characters except for the original characters.
