Separated By a Wall
August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. And it seems like I'm the only one who cares enough to find the truth. I'm the one who snuck out. And you wouldn't believe what I found behind the wall.Concluida

a girl was born into a dystopian world where two societies were separated. those who are immune were placed into mazes whilst those who are gifted with knowledge were known as "the enemies" and placed in labs across the nation. unluckily for her she was placed with the enemies, known as WCKD. her abnormal intelligence made her stand out from the crowd, especially with no family members. she had no intention whatsoever on the change of the course of her life. she felt betrayed by the people she thought who would protect her and care for her. not everyone is who they seem, right? - (written in no caps, sorry for any editing mistakes - unedited as well) - gally groaned, folding his arms like a child. "a girl playing?" i pull a disgusted look to him. "what's that supposed to mean?" - "he's forbidden to do any building work for 2 days." he sighed, exhausted. i crossed my arms in disappointment. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Concluida
