Most people reading comics wish they had superpowers so they could be a hero. First off: You don't need powers to be a hero. All you need is courage to do the right thing when your make-it-or-break-it moment happens.

Desperate to reconnect with her family, Kamella decides to use the powers that she has to become a villain named Blinq, just to get attention from her family. But life is already hard. Heading into her senior year in high school, trying to keep her crush away from the stupid boys she keeps dating, fending off suitors of her own, and then meeting other heroes and villains certainly keeps her on her toes. How much of a mess can she make, and will she be able to clean it up? This is being written for the Open Novella Contest 2024, for prompt #87: You come from a family of highly respected heroes. All three of your big brothers are known as powerhouses, but you rarely see them since they're always saving the city. One day you realize that the only way to see all of your brothers is to become a villain.
