As a brand new college student that has newfound freedom, Rory can make her own choices now– without the constant nagging of her parents. However, there is a mental chain tugging on Rory's mind, towards the way her parents raised her as she makes decisions. That lifestyle doesn't make her happy though and Rory soon realizes that it's time to take risks in life no matter what the past is. She needs to think ahead, about the future.

Now, the real question is: Will Rory finally be able to be her true self with the help of new friends and possibly a new love?
