I'm Rea. I live in the middle of no where, a place that has been long forgotten. I have a dog named Russet, and she can do many things. I also have a friend, his name is Dan. We lived together after everyone else... Well.. Died of a sickness that only people who are 18 years and above can get ill and die of it. And yeah, only Dan, Russet and I survived among the remains of the village. Now it's our time to finally go out, in years, in search of more humans after everything has happened to us, to the world.

Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this. To be honest most nights I think its just an escape from the madness, like a natural sedative it's the only way I can fall asleep in this hell. However I do need to clear my conscious and pay dividend for my demons. I need you to know what happened to me; I need you to know what we have become and what we are capable of. I need you to know why we have chosen to kill each other, why the smell of human flesh lingers in the air like slow roast pork on a Sunday afternoon. Why bodies litter our streets. Why things that seemed to be so impossible happen in front of our very own eyes. Why conformity i this place is the unreal ideas people live their lives by and why I was included into this group of youthful abominations. All of this might be irrelevant compared to what I am about to tell you.

Steven exclaimed next to me, his brown eyes going huge at the sight in front of me I look up to see Ares, he jumps off the stage and runs at me, the crowd splits in half leaving me in the middle where he can get to me easier "Gee thanks guys" I glare at everyone He quickly but gently picks me up into his strong arms slamming his soft pink lips onto mine. Fireworks.Sparks.Tingles. It's as if all of the evil memories or thoughts of him were washed away as I kissed him more. Like as if I was brainwashed, in a trance that I couldn't break out of. It was addicting like a drug, I had to have more. Then I remember who he was. What he has done to innocent people. My mate is a monster. I pull away in shock not believing what I just have done. It felt like I murdered someone just by kissing Him. This is wrong. I hate it. But, I love it. He looked at me with shock and hurt expression on his face The Alpha Ares actually has feelings? Hey guys, if you haven't noticed I have changed a few things about this book... including the title. When I started writing Ro and Georgie I was new on Wattpad (merely 15 and using OMG 24/7) and have, over the years, learned a few things about writing on here as well as learning a few things about myself. One of those things I learned was that I shouldn't have a story with the main character having my name in it. So, here is the new story, slowly being edited and updated (I have to also finish off a story and edit another story this summer) and hopefully I will finally be able to keep a promise and have something finished this summer. I'll do everything you say or buy anything for you. I love you, mate. Name it" I stared at his wolf eyes filled with love which made my heart churn. I pressed my urge to puke and stared blankly at him. "Free me" "I told you. I'll never leave you. How dare you think about going away mate. I'll fuck you so hard that you won't be able to step out of the bed. Then you'll carry my pups. Let's see how you'll deny my love" He growled angrily. In a minute. I was lying under him naked... It was 2062, the year of the misery. World War 3 happened, a nuclear war which ended up making the earth inhabited. But luckily there were survivors. There was an organization called 'Octagon Veranda' situated on a lonely Island in the Atlantic Ocean. This organization of scientists was created mainly to focus on surviving the World War, which could have wiped out humans from Earth. So they were ready for every threat that could occur. The island was covered by a special Nano cover which was supposed to last 300 years and it's a shield against radiation, bioweapons and chemical attacks. The island has all facilities with high technology. The communication system within the island was advanced and had no connection with outside to prevent AI attacks. It was protected in every possible way which is why humanity still lasts. It is 2140 now. Our little island is the only place humanity can survive on the earth but sadly it's a small island. The population is rising. So now we have a lot more problems in surviving than radiation. We are in a sinking Titanic without boats and it's stuck in a radioactive world. Space is the only place we have left to go. We are working on that plan, a Space station. But still, this island is our plan A. There are two parts of the island. Inside and outside. Simply heaven and hell on the same island. If you can get inside you are more than lucky. If you get to live outside, you better pray for death. Inside the island is the place where the Octagon Veranda, the main buildings and the city are situated. Octagon Veranda, we work on eight sectors that help humanity to survive. Each and every sector has a chancellor, together that's the Octagon council. They rule both inside and outside but they care more for the inside, chosen people.

The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. What does this new land hold hidden deep in the remnants of its former glory?
