|A story written in poems.|

The illness talked about in this story is called PCO (Poly Cystic Ovaries).

What is PCO? Polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, is a condition in which a woman's levels of the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone are out of balance. This leads to the growth of ovarian cysts (benign masses on the ovaries). It actually becomes malignant when it is not treated - it transforms to ovarian or uterus cancer.

So what does it do? Makes you infertile - but that's a later thought, with its symptoms: severe acne, hair growth everywhere (stomach, breasts, neck), depression, obesity.

How do you fix it? There's a hormonal therapy for it.

The is now a SAMPLE ONLY. The story will continue EXCLUSIVELY on AnyStories. "Hello little one" came a booming voice, deep and sultry that made my stomach flutter like wings of a butterfly. "My Lord" I replied, keeping my head down, a quick curtesy, and eyes glued to the floor as if the marble tile was the most interesting pattern in the room. The auras coming from the dragon king was so demanding I felt like I could pass out. "Look at me little one. We do not bite. Much." the voice commanded, although gently it held power. A few snickers softly resonated. I took a breath and gently rose my eyes to meet the most beautiful golden eyes. I was so entranced that I almost didn't hear the one word that was going to change my life forever. Little did I know just how much my life was about to change. "MATE." It took me a minute to register what just happened. Excuse me? Did i just hear the word mate? Oh shit. -------- Everly lives in a world where supernatural creatures live side by side humans. "She was only a student. Until she wasn't. Power isn't always loud. Obsession isn't always obvious. And some secrets don't stay buried, they wait to be found." In the cold halls of a prestigious university, Professor Vivienne Evergreen thrives on discipline, silence, and control. Then comes Adeline, a quiet first-year student with unblinking eyes and a past that won't stay in the past. What begins as curiosity unfolds into something far more dangerous, something neither of them can name without losing control. TW: Suicide and Suicidal themes Trauma Death Mental illness themes
